Mediation Videos

A Strategic Approach to Case Resolution

Tort Video maximizes damages by exposing what a jury would see and hear in court.  We interview plaintiffs, loved ones, medical providers, and lay witnesses.  In addition to these insightful accounts, daily care needs and day-in-the-life scenes are captured. To heighten the visual message, before-and-after photographs are utilized, along with surgical footage, graphics, and animations. All of these damage elements are artfully woven together to complete the video.

Rather than telling the defense what to think through the use of a narrator, we instead allow the witnesses to tell the authentic story of pain, suffering, and futures lost. As a result, our expert team delivers a turnkey documentary that trial attorneys can seamlessly use for settlement and mediation.

Day in the Life Videos

The Jury Views The Plaintiff Up Close And Personal

When a case proceeds to trial, Tort Video is a valuable resource in demonstratively communicating the plaintiff’s everyday struggles and care needs. While we use day-in-the-life scenes in our mediation videos, our trial videos are exclusively day-in-the-life videos. Tort Video has been in over a thousand homes and has been involved in numerous record-setting verdicts. A successful day-in-the-life video begins well before the camera is turned on.

We visit the plaintiff’s home to understand their daily challenges and to assess the filming environment. We explain the process and answer everyone’s questions, so when we come back to film, everyone knows what to expect. We have found, over 40 years of producing day-in-the-life videos, that it is not only the proper equipment and personnel needed for success, but also rigorous attention to detail.

How We Work & How We Bill

Pay At The End Of The Case

Our business model mirrors that of a plaintiff’s attorney, with a wait-to-be-paid formula. Tort Video has been fortunate to be in business for decades and has built a steady stream of revenue from completed video projects. As a result, we are currently receiving payment on projects initialized two to five years ago. We actually encourage our clients to bring us in at the very beginning, even though it means getting paid years later. If possible, we should document the damage immediately, before any healing takes place. In keeping with that approach, Tort Video does not nickel-and-dime; instead, we charge a flat fee that includes all services and expenses. Naturally, that package price depends on the complexity of the project. At any time, we are here to discuss a specific case and provide a fair estimate.
